Modern Home in Victoria, BC

It was uncomfortable and disgusting. Positive: Nothing about it was inviting, it was filthy and many things were broken , dirty or did not work. Negative: This was the worst vacation property I have ever stayed in! The 28 stairs to get to our bedrooms. There are four flights of stairs. The garage we were allowed to use was full of garbage and broken junk so we couldn't park in there. The garbage and recycling bin was full and overflowing. The rugs were not vacuumed and dirty. The refrigerator smelled and had a broken crisper drawer. The towels were thin and small. We only had one towel for three. Nights. Someone’s slippers were on the dirty back patio. The furniture was scarce, hardly enough seating . The doors were grimy and the place needs paint. The beds had razor thin pillows and heavy comforters with a duvet cover, no sheet. The shower heads leaked and sprayed the ceiling. The bathroom fan did not work. The bathroom rugs were very tiny and dirty. The central vacuum cleaner was thrown on the garage floor. There were uncovered outlets in some of the rooms! The was trash and junk in the master bathroom drawers. There were snarls of wires and extension cords piled up on the back patio. The whole place was dirty feeling. The primary resident in the auxillary room told us we couldnt park in the driveway the way we parked. The door to the garage had two entry door locks , one was installed backwards and made it so you could lock yourself out. The yard was landscaped at one time but was full of weeds and very overgrown. The back yard was full of junk. This place needs deep cleaning, painting and fixing! Overall, the owners skimped on everything, we wished we had stayed in a hotel, hotels at least have standards of cleanliness. I would be embarrassed to rent this property to anyone!

We enjoyed our stay. We were close to everything we need, groceries, Costco, massage, etc Positive: We had a group of 8, our kids, their spouse and grand baby. Plenty of space in living room and dining room to seat everyone. Plenty of bathrooms. The patio was nice. Negative: 2 burners were broken on the stove and parking was in a line not side by side so we had to put smaller vehicle in garage and then move the other car to get it out

Nice house, center point to surrounding Victoria attractions. Positive: Quiet neighborhood. Clean house, fully stocked. Easily accommodated our family of 6. Does have one car garage. This house is in Langford about 10 miles out of Victoria which is about center point for surrounding attractions, like Butchart gardens, and downtown fisherman’s wharf. It is close to a lot of restaurants and shopping centers. Negative: The house is 3 stories with a lot of stairs. Driveway is tight with 2 mis-size SUVs.

We had a great stay, our favourite place on our trip Positive: The outdoor area was great, location was good Negative: Parking was a little tight for two larger vehicles

Positive: This property was everything we needed and more for our stay - the bedrooms are comfortable and the living spaces are good for bigger groups.
